A brief overview

Caregivers and assistants are currently being sought throughout Germany. For
applicants from abroad, the only thing that is sometimes missing is the appropriate
language skills. With proof of solid German language skills at
level B1.2, people with a migration background also have
excellent chances of being placed. In accordance with the recommendations of the
European Commission for foreign language acquisition,
vocational language teaching at IBB basically follows the approach of
content and language integrated learning, in which language skills
are taught and deepened using relevant vocational content. The focus here
is on the professional language of nursing.

Your career prospects after continuing education

A German course for nursing care at level B1.2 opens up a wide range of career prospects for you
. With appropriate German language skills
you can work in the care sector or in related industries. As a
nursing assistant or care assistant, you can support the nursing staff in the
care of patients. In addition, the German course also opens
doors in other areas of the healthcare sector where
German language skills are required. This can include working in hospitals,
medical facilities or outpatient care services. The
language skills acquired enable effective communication
with colleagues, superiors and patients.

Participation requirements

This course is aimed at participants with a level of B1 according to CEF or
basic knowledge proven by other means.
Another prerequisite for participation is vocational training / studies
or work experience in the care sector or in the commercial
sector.
