Our digital learning opportunities allow you to take part in certified further training and retraining courses throughout Germany – from the comfort of your own home or on the move. You learn in a virtual classroom with live lessons, work on tasks together with other participants, exchange ideas in groups and receive personal support from experienced lecturers and specialist coaches.
Online on site - learning together on site
If you do not wish to complete your training or retraining alone at home, IEC – International Education Centers offers you the opportunity to participate at one of our locations – in a modern learning environment with personal contact.
The lessons take place online in the virtual classroom and are conducted live by experienced lecturers. On site, you will learn together with other participants, can exchange ideas and, if necessary, receive direct support from the IEC team on site.
This form of learning is ideal for anyone who appreciates direct social contact and wants to work in a professional learning atmosphere. Even if you do not have a suitable workplace at home – for example due to a lack of peace and quiet, limited space or an unreliable internet connection – learning on site is a practical and supportive alternative.
Online from home - flexible and convenient home office learning
Do you prefer to work in your familiar surroundings and want to save yourself the daily commute to the learning location? Then online learning from your home office at IEC – International Education Centers is just right for you.
With this form of learning, you can take part in live online lessons or coaching, no matter where you are in Germany. The virtual classroom offers you the opportunity to work interactively with other participants and receive personal support – all digitally and from any location.
Basic computer skills and a stable internet connection (at least DSL 6000) are required for learning from home. If you are being supported with an education voucher, speak to your contact person at the employment agency or job center in advance to obtain approval for home office learning.

Are you looking for a new career perspective and want to make good use of your time? Then the full-time further education and retraining courses at IEC – International Education Centers are just right for you.
Our full-time courses generally comprise 36 to 40 hours per week – comparable to a regular working week. The difference: you invest this time specifically in your professional future.
Whether you choose to study from home or at one of our IEC locations, we offer you a structured learning environment with individual support, experienced lecturers and practical content.
Part-time learning - further education that fits into your life
Do you have family or personal commitments and can’t invest eight hours a day in your further training? No problem! At IEC – International Education Centers, we offer flexible part-time courses that fit in with your everyday life.
Whether you are looking after children, caring for relatives or have limited professional availability – our part-time continuing education courses allow you to actively work on your professional future. The daily learning effort is reduced and the course duration is extended accordingly – but the content and qualifications remain identical to the full-time courses.
The part-time models usually consist of a combination of live online lessons and supervised self-study phases – ideal for independent and structured learning.
