What is the Qualification Opportunities Act (QCG)?
The QCG is a state funding measure for the qualification of employees – regardless of age, previous education or company size. The aim is to support companies with the digital transformation and skills shortage.

Note: For degree-oriented further training there are 100% funding – regardless of the size of the company.
Requirements for funding
- Employees are subject to social security contributions
 
- The measure lasts at least 121 hours
 
- The course is certified (IEC fulfills all requirements)
 
- The vocational training is at least two years ago

FAQ - The most important questions and answers about the QCG
					 Which further training courses are supported by the QCG?   
							
			
			
		
						
				In principle, all further training that goes beyond purely workplace-related training – e.g.e.g. in IT, communication, Fümanagement, warehouse logistics or commercialänical areas. 
👉 Good to know: All IEC courses are certified according to AZAV and therefore eligible for funding. 
					 What are the requirements for funding from the QCG?   
							
			
			
		
						
				The following conditions must be met for your employees to be promoted:
- The last training was at least two years ago
 
- In the last two years no QCG funding applied for
 
- The person is employed and subject to social security contributions (no mini-job or internship)
 
- The further training comprises at least 121 teaching units
 
- The course is organized by a certified educational institution such as IEC

				The amount of funding depends on the size of the company:
- Up to 100% of the training costs
 
- Up to 100% subsidy on wages (gross wage + social security contributions)
 
- In addition travel costs, accommodation and childcare can be covered

				Yes – as long as it is carried out by a certified training provider such as IEC. This can be B. as live online lessons, hybrid formats or in-house training courses take place. It is important that the measure is not organized purely internally and the minimum duration is observed.

				The application is always made by the company usually by the HR department or management.
