The further training allowance is a state subsidy for people who are reorienting themselves professionally during further training – e.g.For example, during short-time work, part-time work or as part of a retraining program. You will receive monthly 150extraif you complete an eligible measure.

What is the training allowance?
The continuing education allowance is a supplementary benefit from the Employment Agency or the Jobcenter. It is paid in addition to the citizen’s allowance or other benefits – monthly 150€as long as you are taking part in eligible further training.
Requirements for the training allowance
- You take part in a certified according to AZAV participate
- The measure is covered by a education voucher or §81 SGB III sponsored
- You receive citizen’s allowance or are in a comparable situation
- The training lasts at least 8 weeks
How it works – step by step

Talk to your contact person about your further training and the possibility of receiving a training allowance.
2. apply for education voucher & select course
Choose an eligible course at IEC – we will advise you and help you with the application.
3. start further training & receive bonus
As soon as you start, you will receive 150 per monthtraining allowance – in addition to your regular benefits.
