What is the §16k voucher?
The voucher according to §16k SGB II is a support measure of the Jobcenter for people:
- without completed vocational training
- with a low income
- with difficult access to the labor market
The aim is to create new career prospects through coaching and training – individually, practically and free of charge.
How it works – step by step
1. consultation at the job center
Make an appointment at the Jobcenter and talk about your professional situation. They will check whether you are eligible for support.
2nd voucher received
If you meet the requirements, you will receive the voucher in accordance with §16k SGB II – in writing or digitally.
3. start action
You can use the voucher to start a coaching or qualification course at IEC – completely free of charge for you.
