What is rehab funding?
Vocational rehabilitation support is provided by the pension insurancethe Employment Agency or other organizations. The aim is to reintegrate people with health restrictions into the labor market – through:
- Professional coaching
- Qualification measures
- Retraining & further training
- Psychosocial support
The measures are free of charge for you – including travel costs, accommodation and, if applicable, childcare.

Who is the rehab grant intended for?
- People with physical or mental disabilities
- Persons with prolonged illness or rehabilitation stay
- People with limited earning capacity
- Rehabilitants with entitlement to benefits for participation in working life
How it works – step by step
1. consultation with the rehabilitation provider
Talk to your contact person at the pension insurance, job center or employment agency. They will check whether you are eligible for support.
2. select measure & submit application
Choose your course at IEC – we will advise you and help you with the application process. Our courses are certified and eligible for funding.
Start 3rd course & develop new perspectives
Start your further training or coaching – at your own pace, with our support. Together we will shape your new career start.
