What is the BFD grant?
The Vocational Promotion Service of the Bundeswehr (BFD) supports soldiers in their transition to civilian working life. The support includes:
- Assumption of costs for further training & retraining
- Advice & support from BFD contact persons
- Additional services such as travel costs, accommodation, meals
- Individual support plans – tailored to your goals
Who is the BFD grant intended for?
- Temporary soldiers after the end of their service
- Professional soldiers with a desire to switch
- Temporary soldiers with entitlement to integration assistance
- Reservists with professional reorientation
